The first, within the automotive sector, included remote users such as farmers, forest dwellers, the military, and rural tourism operators — all requiring vehicles that could function in regions where fuel availability was unreliable, yet renewable electricity could be produced locally.

The second, within the non-automotive sector, encompassed marine craft, snowmobiles, farm and utility equipment, earthmovers, and material-handling systems. These machines often operate in isolated or eco-sensitive areas, where pollution, fuel logistics, and noise are major constraints.

Despite the diversity of these applications, both groups demanded one common capability — a rugged, durable electric drive that could deliver full power for extended durations, in challenging environments and off-road conditions.

The General Purpose Engines, which we intend to replace, used on most of the Off Road Vehicles, Tractors, Marine are designed to deliver their full rated power for 24 hours, non-stop and deliver 10% overload for one hour.

Conventional EV Traction Motors are designed to deliver their rated power for long duration, but they can deliver their peak power only for a few seconds or minutes.

The Pixy EV Drive is engineered to deliver sustained full power over extended operating durations.
For most of the applications, Aircooling is adequate while for some, where air circulation is restricted. liquid cooling option is available.
